Earthwork
Moving and grading massive quantities of earth is the first step in any successful development project. Work begins in the office where our estimating team utilizes state of the art CAD software to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and site models. This information is used to plot haul routes, borrow pits, and embankments which allows our crews to seamlessly phase jobsite operations. Once onsite, the firm employs GPS machine control on our machinery to maintain an unprecedented level of accuracy and efficiency while grading and shaping the earth. Chose Sanitary for a wide range of earthworks services including land clearing, mass excavation, sub grade preparation, road building, overburden removal, land reclamation, soil stabilization, and impermeable liner construction.
Wastewater Management
True to our name, Sanitary Construction Company began its foray into the construction industry by building some of the first wastewater treatment systems in Northern New Jersey. Effectively managing this facet of site development is our specialty. Sanitary’s experience in deep gravity sewers, pump stations, force mains, directional drilling, jacking/boring, and treatment plant construction provides our customers a high level of assurance that the project will be completed properly.
Stormwater Management
In recent years, state and federal mandates on the management of storm water runoff have dramatically impacted the way site developments are built. Sanitary Construction is an expert in the construction of large diameter piping, wet ponds, culverts, water quality devices, and underground retention/detention systems. Sanitary prides itself on knowing the applicable regulations and providing value engineered options to ensure compliance while at the same time providing savings for our customers.
Water Distribution Systems
Sanitary Construction is a leader in water system installations for both fire suppression and domestic services. Our crews perform our own wet taps, ranging in size from 1” – 24”. SCC also holds a well drilling license in the State of NJ for use on rural and residential projects.
Asphalt, Pavement & Concrete
Our crew self performs our own concrete flatwork (curbs, sidewalks, equipment pads) and is also proficient in pouring concrete foundations, floors, and bridge decks. With precision and accuracy we're able to restore or create roads and pathways to their ideal state. We also have a separate asphalt division that handles full depth milling, profiling, and the paving of parking lots, roadways, and highways.
